I'm a certified nutritional coach with a special interest in brain health and neurodevelopment. But more than that, I'm a parent — navigating the beautiful, messy reality of raising neurodiverse children every single day.
Nourishing Growing Brains was born from a simple belief: you shouldn't have to choose between evidence-based guidance and compassionate understanding. You deserve both.
As a teacher, I've always been fascinated by how children thrive — not just behind a desk, but as whole little humans. But it wasn't until I was raising my own three boys that I truly understood the gap between theory and reality.
When one of my sons was diagnosed as neurodiverse, I did what many of us do: I dove headfirst into the research. I read the studies, listened to every podcast, and tried every supplement.
Some of it helped. A lot of it didn't. And almost none of it acknowledged how physically and emotionally exhausting the process actually is.
Nourishing Growing Brains is where my love for nutrition and wellbeing meets the "real life" of parenting. I know what it's like to spend an hour prepping a "brain food" meal only to have it rejected in seconds. I know the guilt of survival-mode screen time and the quiet isolation of this path.
This isn't a highlights reel; it's a space for gentle, educated changes that actually stick. There are no perfect parents here — just present ones.
